We were flying home after a long stressful day of shooting at the end of the BP disaster, and passed a small airport. I saw this the runway full of this colorful plastic, so I asked Tom the pilot to circle, and only took 2 frames. Again this image sat in the files unnoticed till we realized that it told the story of plastic in the ocean in a unique way.
