This is another one-of-a-kind image. This was our first shoot of hydro-fracking, and we saw this waste pit next to a drill rig, circled it numerous times and got the image, thanks to my great pilot friend Bob Keller from Lighthawk (this was the first time we worked together). I have never seen anything like it since, in all of the flights i have done to photograph fracking.
