Join ARTCO Galerie Aachen for a discussion and book signing with J Henry Fair

As part of the 2nd Photography Festival of the Städteregion Aachen, ARTCO Galerie Aachen presents works by the renowned US photographer J Henry Fair from 17 Aug to 10 Sep.

J Henry Fair' will speak about the making of “Industrial Landscapes” and sign the second edition of his book Industrial Scars: The Hidden Costs of Consumption

Also new video of “Industrial Scars” will be shown.

"My work is about the conflict between our dependence on nature and the damage we do to it through our materialism. I take ironically beautiful photographs of complex environmental issues and then supplement them with extensive research that is incrementally made accessible to the viewer. I want people to pause, think about the subject, be interested in the history behind it, and possibly question any conflicting beliefs they may have."
