Fracking Compressor Trucks and Trailers of Fracking Fluids Arrayed Around Well Head at Bakken Shale Oil Well
Williston, North Dakota, USA
After the hole has been drilled and piped, the well must be fracked using millions of gallons of water and toxic chemicals pumped at extremely high pressure to fracture the layer of shale rock and release the oil trapped there. Wells can be fracked numerous times, repeating the injection of volumes of water and chemicals. This site was on hold due to an accident.
